Department of Geography (Escuela de Geografia), Water and Global Change Observatory (Observatorio del Agua y Cambio Global – OACG)

The department of Geography currently offers a BSc in Geography, a Licentiate postgraduate program in Geography, a professional master’s degree in GIS and remote sensing, and an academic Master of Science in Geography. The Department of Geography (DG) hosts internationally recognized expertise in (a) tracer hydrology to better understand hydrological functioning across climate gradients in response to environmental change, (b) atmospheric research focused mostly on weather and climate systems and (c) integrated water resources management.
